YOUR SAFETY AND SECURITY

Security at the Fair is our highest priority for all those attending. Please take a moment to read over the information below.

ONLINE REGISTRATION

Buyers registering onsite are required to provide the same documents as indicated on the registration form. There are no exceptions and verbal vouching without documentation, (eg. by an exhibitor who knows you) will not allow access inside the Fair.

IDENTIFICATION

Buyer's entry passes must be visible, and current photographic identification (issued under law) must be carried at all times. Non-Australian residents must carry their passport with them while at the Fair. Identification must be produced to Security or to an exhibitor, on demand.

SEARCH

It is a condition of entry that buyers and other personnel consent to being searched on request. X-ray machines and metal detection equipment will be used at entry points. Routine searches will be conducted.

RIGHT OF REFUSAL

Expertise Events reserves the right to refuse entry to any buyer at its discretion.

PROHIBITED ITEMS

Items prohibited inside the Fair include:

• Firearms or weapons of any kind
• Cameras
• Bags other than a small briefcase or handbag

TRADING ON THE FLOOR

Onsite trading is restricted to exhibitors only. Buyers are not permitted to bring goods for trade, sale, display or representation and will be removed from the premises for doing so.

SUSPICIOUS PERSONS

If someone who appears to have no official presence approaches you or if you observe suspicious behaviour at the Fair, please report your concerns to security immediately.

PURCHASES AND CARRIAGE OF VALUABLES

Buyers making purchases at the Fair are advised to use the official security transporter Brinks Security, who will be located onsite. Expertise Events strongly advises against carrying jewellery merchandise to or from the Fair.

CHILDREN / PRAMS

As this is a business event, with high security, we strongly discourage buyer's children from attending the Fair.  We understand however, that this may be unavoidable at times and so exceptions in these circumstances may be made.  Due to the nature of the event we discourage prams being brought into the Fair. Any items brought to the Fair will be searched at the Fair entry and/or exit as part of our commitment to safety and security.  If a child is found unaccompanied, they will be escorted to the Expertise Events Servicentre and the registered buyer responsible for the child will be notified.
